MUSIC DAVE'S
INTERGALACTIC ALASKAN PORTAL

Welcome to Music Dave's Blog

Rainy

This song plays with the name Rainy. Those that have experienced any of my live performances may have met my guitar, Rainy. She is a Martin Dreadnought cutaway. I bought her right here in Fairbanks, Alaska around the turn of the century at Pro Music. Down by the China River. I was still in the military at the time. Rainy came with me to Germany and then back with me to Florida, and then all the way back up here to Fairbanks, AK. The top of the guitar has suffered from the different climates and they’re different humidities. Fairbanks being the driest. In spite of her looks she’s still the best sounding instrument I have ever owned. I have recorded almost all my music with her in the studio.
