Tin Roof

There’s something in her smile

There’s something about her touch

I’ve never been so blind

I’ve never seen so much

I’ve never been so lame

And still been somebody’s crutch

She’s so fine

I would cross that line

To get there anytime

Another sunny day

The rain is just pouring down

She’s got so much to say

She never makes a sound

She always leaves me better

Than the way I was found

She’s so fine

She blows my mind

Nearly every time

Now she’ll never look at me the same

     She seen my wreckage

     Knows that I’m to blame

     Another sunny day

I feel a bit more sane

     Like that tin roof singing

     In the pouring rain.

There’s something about her smile

There’s something about our touch

I’ve never been so blind

I’ve never seen so much

I’ve never been so lame

And still been somebody’s crutch

She’s so fine

She blows my mind

Each and every time

Each and every time

Each and every time.
